Preserving Pinewood Pals
The Pinewood Pals Archive is an independent collection dedicated to documenting and preserving the history of Pinewood Pals and its years on WSTV-8.
The project focuses on surviving photographs, recordings, production material, documents, and personal recollections connected to the program.
The archive was established in 2026 after an interest in local television history led its founders to begin collecting material related to Pinewood Pals.
Pinewood Pals was a local children's television program broadcast from Rosewood, Oregon during the 1980s.
Like many local programs of its era, much of its history was never widely documented outside of newspaper listings, home recordings, promotional photographs, and material kept by the people who worked on or watched the program.
The goal of this archive is to bring those pieces together in one place and preserve them for future reference.
The Pinewood Pals Archive exists to preserve material that might otherwise disappear.
Whenever possible, photographs and documents are catalogued with their approximate date, source, format, and known history.
Information may be updated as additional material is discovered or previously unidentified records are properly documented.
